Patricia Shawn Hartman

GARDNER - Patricia Shawn (Hansen) Hartman, 62 of Gardner, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner, MA. She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, on July 6, 1958, the daughter of Ernst Walter Hansen and the late Joan Elizabeth (Zajac) Hansen. She grew up in Edison, New Jersey and graduated from High School in New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Johnson State University in Vermont. She was a resident of Gardner for the past three years having lived previously in Florida, Georgia and Pennsylvania. She was an actress, she performed in Godspell at Rutgers University and was active in several Theatre Groups. She taught acting for several years and was an accomplished competitive swimmer. She leaves two sons, Brian E. Hartman of Dallas, GA, Daniel Scott Hartman of Marietta, GA; her father, Ernst Walter Hansen; two brothers, Doug Hansen of Hillside, NJ, Scott Hansen of Glover, VT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Joan (Zajac) Hansen and by a brother, Brooks Ernst Hansen. Funeral services will be private. To send an online condolence please visit www.mackfamilyfh.com.
