Patricia May O'Neill

GARDNER- Patricia May O'Neill, 79 of 63 Brook Lane, Gardner died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at home. She was born on April 30, 1937 in Bronx, New York the daughter of Michael Jones-Henry and Elsie (Whitehead) Jones-Henry. She grew up in the Gardner area and graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1955. Patricia was a dental assistant for Dr. Munson and went on to work for many years at the Fernold School in Templeton. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church a member of the church's Altar Guild. She volunteered at the Heywood Hospital working in the mail room. She enjoy traveling especially visiting her brother in Myrtle Beach. She leaves her husband of 42 years, Samuel J. O'Neill; two sons Scott S. Pollard and his wife Catherine of Rexford, New York; Glenn A. Pollard of Gardner; a daughter Jill J. Pollard of Gardner; one step son Michael J. O'Neill and his wife Pamela of Austin, Texas ; two stepdaughters, Margaret M. Price and her husband Paul of Dallas, Texas and Beanne M. Rothenberg and her husband Larry of Boulder, Colorado; her brother David Henry of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister Sandra Jones-Henry of Leominster; 16 grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Laura, Thomas, Melissa, Cahal, Nathan, Connor, Mary, Grace, Seamus, Jake, Dylan, Jennifer, Patty, Becca; great-grandchildren Kaleigh, Brendan, and Xavier; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 am with the mass at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 79 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at the Mack Funeral Home 91 Vernon St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in Patricia's memory to St. Paul's Episcopal Church 79 Cross St., Gardner, MA 01440.
