Paul D. Eno
Athol – Paul D. Eno, 67, of Metropolitan Court passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 after a brief illness. Paul was born in Winchendon, Massachusetts on January 9, 1947, the son of David and Florence (Dale) Eno. He grew up and lived in Athol for most of his life, graduating from Athol High School in 1965. Paul served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Paul worked for many years at the Templeton Development Center and Belchertown State School. He lived many places, drove many cars, and was a man of many words. Paul was very dedicated to his family and friends and was known for his kindness and generosity. He very much enjoyed fishing and hunting, passions he shared with his children and many friends over the years. Paul’s mother immigrated to Athol after World War II, and Paul enjoyed corresponding with his family back in England, often sharing stories of the time he spent there as a child. He leaves his sons Robert Heath, Michael Eno, and Brian Eno. He also leaves his sister Janice Eno of Athol and his cousin Carol Ollett of the Isle of Man.
A service with Military honors will be at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contribution in Paul’s memory to the Athol Hospital Modernization Project, the Office of Philanthropy, c/o Heywood Hospital, 242 Green Street, Gardner, Massachusetts 01440.
