Leominster- Pauline (Beaudette) Shaw, 88, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 21, 2013 with her family by her side. She was one of seven children to the late Phillip and Ida (Brosseau) Beaudette.
Pauline grew up in Leominster and attended Sexton Trade School. She worked as a stitcher for the former Cluet and Peobody Co. in Leominster and was a foster parent for many years. She enjoyed the company of her family, reading and crocheting. She was a member and Eucharistic Minister of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, a member of the Lady’s Guild, and she started the funeral fellowship for the church.
Pauline was the mother of two daughters; Elaine Pickett and Judy Vaillancourt and her husband Glenn, both of Leominster. She also leaves behind three grandchildren; Timothy Pickett and his wife Karen, Todd Pickett and his wife Trish, and Tonya Dokulil and her husband Jason, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband of forty-nine years; Henry A. Shaw (1989), and six sisters; Olivine, Alice, Irene, Lena, Jean, Therese.
A calling hour will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St. Leominster on Tuesday December 24, 2013 from 9:30am-10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St, Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
