Penny Mae (Hiscock) Chaisson

Penny M. Chaisson Okeechobee, FL – Penny Mae (Hiscock) Chaisson, 60, formerly of Phillipston, died Friday, June 22, 2012 in Ft. Wayne, IN after suddenly being stricken ill while visiting her daughter.      Penny was born in Athol, Massachusetts, September 27, 1951, the daughter of Alson E. and Dorothy H. (Smith) Hiscock.  She grew up in Phillipston, graduating from Narragansett Regional High School in 1969  and since 1993 has resided in Okeechobee.        Penny always entertained people with her music, especially karaoke and lip sync but also loved all types of music.  She was a member of the Moose Lodge in FL, currently serving as secretary, and was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.   Penny never knew a stranger and felt blessed every day of her life.        She leaves two daughters; Allison Tindall and her husband Shane of Florence, KY and Melanie Justus and her husband Steve of Portland, IN; her mother, Dorothy Hiscock of Okeechobee; three grandchildren, Stephen and Alson Chaisson and Jonathin Troendle.  She was predeceased by her father; a son, Dale Rose and a brother, Gary Hiscock      A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Templeton.  Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.  For further information or to share a memory with the family go to:  www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com.   $(document).ready(function(){ });
