Philip Bibeau of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 67 from complications of Lewy Body dementia.
Philip was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on November 15, 1957. He graduated from Gardner High School in 1975. He went on to attend Penn State University where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field of Science, Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
Upon graduation from Penn State, he became a sales associate at Monadnock Forest Products.
In 1995, he joined the Wood Products Manufacturers Association as the Director of Association Services and in 2000 transitioned into the role of Executive Director until his retirement in 2021.
Philip was admired and respected by many people. He had the kindest heart and soul, and was one of the nicest individuals you could ever meet. He was a genuine, honest, generous, and compassionate man beyond measure, with a heart and soul to match.
Philip is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lori, and their dog, Piper. They will miss him deeply. Philip and Lori were together twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week for 27 years. This will be a difficult transition for them both.
He is also survived by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Bibeau, who died on December 7, 2008.
Lori would like to thank Kody Zarozinski, Sholie Fox, Margaret Magill, Jessica Paradis, Marianne Fleurent, Sara Ziegerhofer, Hanna Ziegerhofer, Hunter Ziegerhofer, and Ron Black for their unwavering loyalty and dedication in caring for Philip as well as their continuous support to Lori during the past six months. These people became family to Philip and Lori and brought both joy and happiness every day to a devastating situation. They gave Philip the absolute best care they could possibly give. Philip, Lori, and Piper were fortunate beyond measure to have these extraordinarily special people in their corner.
