TEMPLETON - Philip Joseph Chicoine, 63 of Templeton, died Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Bay State Medical Center, Springfield. He was born in Gardner, on October 18, 1956, the son of the late Norman P. and Alice J. (Burgoyne) Chicoine. He grew up in Templeton and graduated from Narragansett High School with the class of 1975. He worked at Chick's Auto Body with his father and brothers for many years. He enjoyed fishing year-round, he played on several dart, pool and horseshoe leagues. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hiking and camping. He leaves his wife, Lorna (Pelletier) Chicoine; two daughters, Megan Willwerth of Ayer; Jenna Chicoine of Ashburnham; his mother Alice Chicoine of Templeton; brother, John Chicoine of Templeton; two sisters, Sheila Chicoine of Hubbardston, Kathleen Cronin and her husband Dan of Gardner; four grandchildren, Olivia O’Brien, P.J. O’Brien, Madalene Willwerth, Michael, Willwerth; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. A reception will follow at the Candlelite Cafe, 712 Patriots Rd, Templeton.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Philip's memory to the Mass Conservation Trust and Urban Parks Trust Fund.
