LEOMINSTER-------Phyllis Elaine Bachand 77 of Leominster died Wednesday April 27, 2011 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital after an illness.
She was born February 25, 1934 the daughter of the late Clarence A. Bachand and Eugenie (Surette) Bachand and was a lifelong Leominster resident.
She leaves her four sisters, Fay I Brooks of Fitchburg, Jean F. Nadeau and husband Edward of Fitchburg, Sandra E Butts of Delaware and Carol A Gaylord and her husband Thomas of Woodstock Valley Connecticut, her brother Alfred Bachand and his wife Sharon of Leominster, and many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. She leaves her dear friend and care taker Esther and many, many friends.
She was predeceased by her sister Linda M. Bachand and by her brother Philip A. Bachand.
Phyllis was a communicant of St Cecilia's Church in Leominster. She was a member of the ARC and the Beacon of Hope in Leominster. She was a very special person and sister whom will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral will be held on Monday May 2,2011 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with a 10am Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia's Church Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday May 1, 2011 are from 5pm-7pm.
