ATHOL - Phyllis A. (Jarvis) Musante, 85, of South Deerfield and formerly of Athol, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 in the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, MA.
She was born in Greenfield, on January 18, 1930, the daughter of the late Lester and the late Leora (Northway) Jarvis.
She worked for Erving Paper Mills as a packager for many years. She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, and she enjoyed gardening. She was devoted to her family, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
She leaves one daughter: Marie E. Allis of South Deerfield; two sons: Charles F. Musante of Raliegh, NC, Michael J. Musante of Meddybemps, ME; eight grandchildren; six ; great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Musante, a sister Jean Glatkowsku and her brother Francis Jarvis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will be held at a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 30, 2015, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
