Priscilla M LeClerc

TEMPLETON- Priscilla (Marsden) (Rumery) LeClerc, of Templeton, passed away on February 7, 2018. Priscilla was born in Holden, MA, to the late Ralph E. and Olive E. (Glidden) Marsden. She graduated from Worcester High School of Commerce in 1948 and from the Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. Priscilla was the proud mother of nine children of her own and several "borrowed" children she helped along the way. Priscilla worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years at Henry Heywood Hospital, for 10 years at local nursing homes, and 10 years at Templeton Developmental Center, retiring in 1996. She leaves her five daughters, Shelby Rich of Gardner, Danelle Simpson of Martinsville, IN, Lori Szoc of Baldwinville, Melanie Cutting of Phillipston, and Meryl Vaillancourt of Templeton; one son, Matthew LeClerc of Templeton; one brother, David Marsden and his wife, Hazel of Newington, CT; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; beloved sister-in-law, Anna Marsden; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her care giver, Diane Cameron. Priscilla was predeceased by her 1st husband, J. Stephen Rumery, and her 2nd husband, Arthur A. LeClerc to whom she was married for 45 years. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Stephen Bradford Rumery, 2 sons, Robert E. Rumery and Russell S. Rumery, a daughter, Joline M. Rumery, a sister, Carol Chaput and a brother, Ralph E. Marsden, Jr. Calling hours are Sunday, February 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. The funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 12, at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Ave., East Templeton. Burial will be private.
