LEOMINSTER.......Rachel (Constant) Arsenault 82 of 146 Seventh St. Leominster died Thursday morning June 10, 2010 at home after an illness. She was born July 19, 1927 in Quebec Canada the daughter of the late Calixte Constant and Marie (Morin) Constant and came to the United States settling in Leominster in 1955. She leaves two sons, Richard Arsenault and his wife Stephanie of Vermont and Steven Arsenault and his companion Liz Irvine of Leominster, two daughters, Claudette Arsenault and her husband Jean-Guy Bergeron of Quebec Canada and Diane Pavilitis and her husband Michael of Leominster.Her Brother, Omer Constant of Leominster MA., and her sister Rita Constant of Quebec Canada.Her Brother in law George Arsenault of Leominster Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. Her husband of (34) Years, Marcel Arsenault died in 1980; a grandson Johnathan Marcel Arsenault died in 1981,Six Brothers Maurice Constant, Wilfred Constant, Fabian Constant, Armand Constant, Oneil Constant and Napolean Constant and a sister Emma Constant predeceased her. Mrs. Arsenault worked at the former Tilton and Cooke Co, and the former Foster Grant Co. before retiring many years ago. She was a communicant at St Cecilia's Church in Leominster and enjoyed bike riding and walking. The funeral will be held on Saturday June 12, 2010 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with a 1:30pm Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia's Church 180 Mechanic St Leominster. Burial will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday evening June 11, 2010 are from 4PM- 7PM. At the request of the family please omit flowers.
