Randy A. Dowse

Randy Alan Dowse, 59, of Orange, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Randy was born in Concord, MA on August 7, 1964.

He lived with his father, John “Sonny” Dowse and his grandmother, Leta Dowse. She raised Randy from a very young age and was often referred to as a brother by his closest aunt, Bambi Germain (Raney) of Athol.

Randy spent much of his time with friends and family, shooting pool, hunting with "the boys" and joined as many fishing derbies as possible.  Randy was lovingly referred to as “meat stick” “meatball” and “Roody”. He was often caught belting out his favorite song, "Delta Dawn" into the tip of his pool stick.  His smile would light up any room and he loved to make others laugh.

He was survived by his daughter; Denise Dirth (Michael Chaplin, Jr.) of Orange, MA, a son; Matthew Dowse of Orange, MA; twin grandbabies, Khloe Chaplin and Michael Chaplin III, a sister; Bobbi-Jo Vincent (Jammie) of Port Orange, FL, a stepbrother; Aaron Hanley of Port Orange, FL and a brother; John Sambuchi (Sandi) of Clinton, MA and several aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Randy is predeceased by his father, John “Sonny” Dowse and his grandmother who he referred to as “Ma”, Leta Dowse.
