Raymond J. Gingras

ATHOL - Raymond P. Gingras, 66, of 132 Central St. #1, Athol, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at home. He was born in Worcester, on June 14, 1941, the son of the late Roland A. and the late Catherine E. (Hannigan) Gingras. Mr. Gingras was a longtime resident of Westboro, and a resident of Athol for 10 years. He served in the Navy for two years. He was devoted to his family, friends, and God. He was always willing and able to help people when needed. His hobby was playing on the computer and he also enjoyed playing with Erin. He leaves six sisters, Beverly Ohman of Rutland, Sharon Gingras-Shong of Leicester, Sandra Clancy of Paxton, Sheila Fitzgerald of Rutland, Maureen Gingras of Shrewsbury, Patricia Gingras of Worcester; three brothers, Ronald Gingras of North Las Vegas, NV, Gary Gingras of Millbury, T. David Gingras of Leicester. He was predeceased by his four brothers, Richard Gingras, Donald Gingras, Kenneth Gingras, and James Gingras. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
