VERO BEACH, FL -Raynold Robichaud, 91, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Athol, was welcomed into His Savior’s arms Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born on October 20, 1929 to the late Silver and Theotise (Mallet) Robichaud. He was raised in Phillipston and attended schools there. He retired in 1994 from his custodian position at the Athol Town Hall, previously working for Rodney Hunt. He was a former member of Athol/Orange Baptist Church. He found joy in hunting, rooting for the Boston Patriots, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy M. (Savoy) Robichaud, his five children, Carol (Walter) Knightes of Vero Beach, FL, Diane (Terry) Sofie and Janice Marble of Sequim, WA, Nancy (Jeffrey) Lilley of Vero Beach, FL and Alan (Loraine) Robichaud of Hoosick Falls, NY, eleven grandchildren: Matthew, Evan & Luke Knightes, Anthony Sofie, Nicole Tourigny Vautour, Ryan and Renelle Lilley, Jason, Kevin, Taylor and Jordan Robichaud, eleven great grandchildren, his brother Norman Robichaud, his sister-inlaw
Rita Savoy, and many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his siblings Leo, Albert, Arthur, Wilfred, Girard, and Edward Robichaud and his sisters Loza Chartier, Stella Roy and Anne Boise. A private burial was held at Silver Lake Cemetery.
