LEOMINSTER-Regis J. LeBlanc, 71, of Leominster, died Wednesday, January 13, at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Regis was born January 5, 1945, in St. Anthony, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Tilman and Elise LeBlanc. He was a carpenter for many years. He cherished his grandchildren. Regis loved country music, and enjoyed the many family and friend gatherings over the years. Music was the central theme with Regis playing the spoons and harmonica. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Parish
He leaves his wife, Lizette (Cormier) LeBlanc; two daughters, Tammy Beauvais, and Stephanie LeBlanc and her husband, Juan Vivar, all of Leominster; four grandchildren, Shawn LeBlanc, Kevin Beauvais, Anthony Caldron, and Jayden Vivar; seven brothers, Raymond LeBlanc of NB, Canada, Cleamance LeBlanc and his wife, Dora of FL, Donald LeBlanc and his wife, Jeannita of Leominster, Nelson LeBlanc of Moncton, NB, Jean Guy LeBlanc of Leominster, Roger LeBlanc and his wife, Rosemond of Gardner, and Paul LeBlanc and his wife, Ann of Gardner; three sisters, Doris Belliveau of Leominster, Marietta Richard of St. Anthony, NB, and Jeanette Thebeau and her husband, Ted of Leominster; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ola LeBlanc.
Calling hours are Monday, January 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 19, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.
