Richard M Dandini

LEOMINSTER, MA -- Richard M. Dandini, 75 of Leominster, MA died March 16, 2013 at Leominster Hospital. Richard was born 7/17/37 in Leominster, MA. Son of the late Florindo and Angelina (Casacca) Dandini. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1956 and then from Northern Michigan College in 1962. He was a student athlete and was crowned King of the Campus. Richard was employed as a school teacher at Leominster Jr. High School and Leominster High School and retired as Director of Facilities of the Leominster School System. His passion was football. Richard leaves his former wife Deanna (Romano) Dandini, a daughter Lori Gitto and her daughters Gianna, Isabella and Francesca, a son Steven Dandini, his wife Melanie (Dougherty) Dandini and their sons Nico, Santino and Gaetano, all of Leominster, MA. He leaves a sister Mary Ann (Dandini) De Amicis and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Richard Dandini Jr., three brothers, Peter, Florindo and Domenic and two sisters, connie Zichelli and Lucille Norton.
