Richard Allen Gowey

Richard A. Gowey, 44, of 6 North Main St., Orange, died unexpectedly Sunday in Athol Memorial Hospital. He was born in Athol August 23, 1959, son of the late Robert and Jacqueline (Morin) Gowey and lived here all of his life. He is survived by one son, Christopher A. LeClaire of Fitzwilliam, NH; his longtime companion, Lori B. LaRhette, with whom he lived, six brothers, Robert Gowey, Jr. of Ware, Alfred Gowey and Dean Gowey, both of Turners Falls, John Gowey of Lowell, Steven Gowey of Greenfield and Matthew Gowey of Fitzwilliam; three sisters, Pollyanna Zatowski of Fitzwilliam, Shirley Paige of Richmond and Lisa Pringle of Keene and one granddaughter, Abigail LeClaire of Fitzwilliam.
