Richard C. Skiffington

NEW SALEM - Richard C. Skiffington, 62 of 14 Seezey Lane, New Salem, died peacefully at home comforted by the people that loved him Saturday, January 6, 2007, after a long illness. He was born in Keene, NH, on October 17, 1944, the son of the late Joseph and the late Ruth (Fulford) Skiffington. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Linda D. (Spaulding) Skiffington and two sons: William J. Skiffington and his wife Cheyenne of Orange, Gary D. Skiffington of Orange; one brother: Michael Skiffington of NH and three grandchildren, Adam, Tyler and Brandon. Funeral services will be private and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to American Cancer Society´s, New England Division Office, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the Baystate VNA and Hospice 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102.
