Rick was born in Gardner on May 31, 1965 and was a 1984 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School. He worked for many years in maintenance in the hotel industry.
Rick had a love of gardening and plants and enjoying watching movies. He was an artist and collector of fine jewelry and shared his passions by gifting his “finds” generously with others. Rick’s favorite place was the beach, especially the Cape and Provincetown where he spent many vacations with family and close friends. He also found joy in baking and spent most of the pandemic baking banana bread and chocolate chip cookies for his family, friends, neighbors and anyone else he could find! Rick loved spending time with his cat Sadie, his family and his circle of close, longtime friends. He will be remembered by all as a kind and gentle soul with a crazy sense of humor.
