Ricky L. Dancause

ASHBURNHAM - Ricky Lee Dancause, 58, of Ashburnham died Friday, April 28, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus of Worcester. He was born June 16, 1958 in Winchendon, the son of the late Eugene R. Dancause, Sr. and Rita M. (Brennan) Dancause. Ricky grew up in Ashburnham and was a life-long resident. He graduated from Oakmont High School with the class of 1977. He worked as a Mold Tech Operator at Millipore Corporation in Jaffrey, NH, Victory Button in Fitchburg and Dennison Manufacturing in Fitchburg. Ricky was a member of the Ashburnham Boy Scouts and the 4-H Club. He enjoyed farming, splitting wood and loved his cats. He leaves his mother, Rita (Brennan) Dancause; one brother, Eugene R. Dancause, Jr. and his wife Jane of Ashburnham; two nephew, David Gregerson, Ted Dancause; three nieces, Melissa Huster, Krystal Gregerson, Nicole Dancause; one great nephew Luke Gonzalez, two great nieces, Rena Huster, Azavara Gregerson and a brother in-law, Allen Gregerson of Olympia, Washington. He was predeceased by a sister,Terry Ann Gregerson. The funeral will be held 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Lamoureux-Fletcher & Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial in Meeting Hill Cemetery, Ashburnham will be private at a later date.
