Rita B. (Boyko) Gilmartin

 LEOMINSTER-------Rita B. (Boyko) Gilmartin, 84, of Leominster, died Friday February 24, 2012 at home after an illness. She was born July 13,1927 in Ware, the daughter of the late Steve Boyko and Alice (Ratelle) Boyko and came to Leominster many years ago.  She leaves her two sons: Kevin Gilmartin and his wife Anne of Gardner, Stephen Gilmartin and his wife Michelle of Colorado; four grandchildren: Kevin, Brad, Ryan and Jeremy.  Rita worked in the payroll department at the former Comfort Slipper Co. in Fitchburg. She was a communicant of St Cecilia’s Church in Leominster and enjoyed playing cards, camping, knitting and going to the beach.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 6pm in Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. Burial is private.  Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday evening February 29, 2012 from 4pm-6pm.  Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster is directing arrangements.      $(document).ready(function(){ });
