Leominster- Rita T. (Cote) Brouillet, 96 of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 12, 2014 in the life care center, Leominster. She was born on July 31, 1917, the daughter of the late Israel and Matilda (Ducharme) Cote and the wife of the late Edward H. Brouillet.
Rita grew up in Leominster, and was a lifelong member of St. Cecilia’s Church, a member of the Leominster Seniors, the Fitchburg Golden Age Club, and the American Legion Post 151. She worked for Foster Grant for 37 years retiring in 1981.
Rita leaves behind her sis in-law Claire Cote of Leominster, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers
Calling hours will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St, Leominster on Sunday march 16, 2014 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 17, 2014 at 11:00amin St. Cecilia’s Church 180 Mechanic ST Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations in Rita’s name be made to the: St. Cecilia’s Restoration Fund 170 Mechanic St, Leominster, MA 01453 or may be left at the funeral home.
