Lancaster-Rita Teresa LeBlanc passed away peacefully on Thursday May 6, 2021, at the age of 91.
She was born January 28, 1930, in Leominster Massachusetts, Rita was the daughter of Aristide and Alvina Lehoux.
She was raised in Leominster, Rita attended Leominster High School, after which became the legal secretary for the former Fitchburg mayor. However, Rita’s true passion was her family. As the eldest of 5 children, Rita was a natural caregiver. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife,
mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Rita was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Paul LeBlanc and her sister Jeanette Sivert.
Rita leaves her three siblings, sisters Irene Crowley and Jean Wright and brother Paul Lehoux. She also leaves her four children; Christine Weishaupt and her husband James, Leslie Norton and her husband William, Anne LeBlanc-Snyder and her husband Howard and David LeBlanc; six grandchildren, Jason Weishaupt and Carrie Smith, Melissa Pardee and Katie
Norton, and Rebecca and Benjamin Snyder and six great-grandchildren, Sophia and Kaydence Weishaupt, Alyssa and Miles Smith and Violet and Adelyn Pardee.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 12th at Saint Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St, Leominster, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to; The American Cancer Society or the Epilepsy Foundation.
