Rita M. Mills

LEOMINSTER - Rita M. Mills, 89 of 13 Jerome Place, Leominster, died Monday, February 25, 2008 in the Keystone Center, Leominster, after an illness. She was born in Leominster on July 21, 1918, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Henrietta (Hebert) Mills and was a lifelong Leominster resident. She leaves one brother Armand Mills of Worcester. She was predeceased by her brother Rev. Eugene Mills of Montreal, Canada who died in 1998 and by two sisters, Irene Gagne of Leominster and Sister Viola Mills of the Sisters of the Holy Ghost Order of Putnam, Ct. Miss Mills worked as a stitcher at the former Cluet and Peabody Co. in Leominster. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster, Children of Mary and St. Jean de Baptist. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 11:00 am in the St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
