Rita B Murray

LANCASTER- Rita B. (Tatro) Murray, 96, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at River Terrace Rehab & Healthcare. She was born in Leominster on January 10, 1925, daughter of the late Frank P. and Lillian L. (Langlois) Tatro. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra M. Carman of Pawtucket, RI; a sister, Theresa G. Lawrence of Leominster, MA; three grandchildren, Benjamin R. Carman and his wife, Lisa of Pawtucket, RI; Amanda B. Gibson and her husband, Kenny of Taunton, MA; Jessica Chaves of Cranston, RI; eight great grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Nicole, Jordan, and Jackson Carman, Tyanna Silva, Giavanna and Alana Gibson; three godchildren, Kathy Twichell of Falmouth, MA (who was like a daughter to her), Patti Devlin of Carlisle, PA, and Mark Coulter of Dallas, TX; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand G. Murray in 2015; a son, Ronald G. Murray in 1971; a sister, Claire M. Jacques in 1989; a brother Leo G. Tatro in 1954; and a brother, Paul F. A funeral mass will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00am, St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial to follow immediately after.
