GARDNER - Robert Joseph “Bob” Allain, age 50, born in Leominster MA, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 27th 2016 after being stricken ill at home in Gardner MA, where he lived the majority of his exceptional life.
His spirit will carry on through his precious baby daughter Shelby Alexa Allain, his talented and dear son Michael Cormier and the love of his life Heidi Alexander. He also leaves his father, Albenie Allain, mother, Susan Allain-Demko, sister Corinne, brothers Dennis and Brett, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and an extended family of everlasting friendships.
He was predeceased by his sister, Crystal.
Bob was an amazing father and what he cherished most was the time he was able to spend with his beautiful daughter, watching her reach all of her firsts in life with such joy and light. His legacy will live on in his children and by the charitable work that will be performed in his name. He was also an incredible partner in life and best friend to his beloved which whom he adored. He effortlessly made every day feel like Christmas for his family and those that he held dear. He was thankful for being blessed with the wonderful life he had filled with love, laughter and genuine happiness. He always had a smile on his face, a comical quick wit and a laugh that was contagious.
He was an automobile enthusiast and collector and enjoyed driving anytime he could, taking his motorcycle for a ride on the perfect day, snowmobiling up north with great friends, travelling all over; Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker, the Caribbean as he loved palm trees, and his most memorable vacation in Cabo San Lucas. He played poker for fun as a hobby though played the game like a pro and liked watching the Patriots win year after year. Bob was an incredible cook and among many signature dishes often made his prized Bobalitoes which were always a huge hit. He loved breakfast for dinner and going to his favorite restaurants in Las Vegas and locally for Chicken Picatta and Coney Island Hot Dogs.
Bob was a successful business owner, building his company from the ground up with hard work, determination and the ability to dream big. He was kind, generous and treated everyone he met with respect being a class act. He accomplished so much in the short time that he had while making an enormous impact on all around him.
His passions included his family, home, cars and what should have been his amazing future. He spent his last days celebrating the holidays with those he loved, relaxing and putting together toys for his daughter’s first Christmas. His last Christmas was his best Christmas as he watched his child’s face light up which was Priceless to him.
He had the biggest heart and presence, he was truly larger than life and lived life to the fullest. The lifelong impression of his passing on so many is a testament to the extraordinary man that he was. He will be deeply missed, Gone way too soon but never to be forgotten as he will be in our hearts forever! Heaven’s door opened and a new Angel was born so he could watch over his little sweetheart Shelby for all eternity.
We will be honoring the most special person in our lives on Monday, January 2nd at Lamoureaux-Fletcher & Smith A Mack Family Funeral Home - 105 Central Street, Gardner MA from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life luncheon at the Gardner P.A.C.C. - 171 Kendall Pond Road, Gardner MA at 2:00 p.m.
