Robert T. Allen

ATHOL -- Robert Thomas Allen, 68, of South Street, Athol, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, after a sudden illness. He was born June 16, 1943, in Gardner. He leaves two sons, Thomas V. Allen and Ross E. Allen, both of Athol; a sister, Joanne Gordon of Pilot Mountain, N.C., and five brothers, David Allen Jr. of Athol, Anthony Allen of Pilot Mountain, Stephan Allen of Warwick, Craig Allen of Athol and Alan Allen of Athol; one granddaughter Charissa Kleinkauf of Athol and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 28 years, Janet A. Allen, in 1994. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, NASCAR racing and playing the lottery and spending time with family and friends. He worked at the L.S. Starrett Company for many years. Services are under the direction of the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
