ORANGE – Robert A. Baker, 63 of Orange, passed away Friday morning, January 8, 2021 at home.
Robert was born in Boston, MA on October 6, 1957 to the late Earl Baker and the late Mildred (Kinnane) Baker.
He grew up in Boston and attended Boston Public Schools. He graduated from Brighton High School – Auto Mechanic School. He worked in the Security field for many years. Robert enjoyed NASCAR and was a big Patriots and Bruins fan, as well as all sports. He enjoyed music – especially the oldies – 50s, 60s and 70s. Tully Dam was his favorite place to go.
Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years: Diane M. (Griffin) Baker; his sisters: Carol and Candice; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by two brothers: William and Barry Sr.; his in-laws: Martin and Helen Griffin; and his sister-in-law: Marie Baker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Orange.
A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral.
