EAST HAMPTON - Robert W.Butinsky 63 of 15 North Ballard Street East Hampton MA formerly of Athol died April 3,2007 at home after being stricken ill. He was born January 10,1944 in Athol the son of the late Joseph K.Butinsky and Anne E.(Kerylow)Butinsky. Mr Butinsky leaves (1)Daughter Lisa Butinsky of Alhambra, California. His former wife Patricia A.McHugh of Athol; one uncle Paul Butinsky of Vernon Vermont. Mr. Butinsky owned and operated the Highland Cafe in Athol Ma.for many years. He enjoyed golfing, boating and was an avid pool player. He graduated from Athol High School. Mr Butinsky was a U.S. Navy veteran serving two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He entered the service September 17,1964 and was honorably discharged January 16,1969 attaining the rank of ATN2.He served in Attack Squadron 212. He received the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Calling hours in the Fiske Funeral Home 1356 Main Athol will be Monday evening April 16,2007, from 6:30pm-8pm. Funeral services and burial will be private in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon MA. $(document).ready(function(){ });
