Greenville, NH- Robert f. Cote, 72, formerly of Leominster, died at home with his family by his side following an extended illness. Robert was born on October 29, 1940, the son of the late Norman and Barbara (Watson) Cote.  Robert grew up in Leominster, Ma and attended Leominster schools and then moved to Gardner where he graduated from Gardner High School in 1957. He was self-employed for 20 years as Crystal Floor Maintenance, then worked in the maintenance departments for the Woodford Nursing Home in Ayer, MA, Simonds Saw and Steel in Fitchburg, MA and then for the U.S. Post Office in Jaffrey, NH before getting ill. Robert enjoyed reading, traveling, and listening to oldies music. He was an active member of the Amvets Post 29 in Fitchburg, the Eastwood Club, British American Club, and the VFW in Jaffrey, NH. Robert leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Deborah Cote of Greenville, NH, two sons; David Cote of Williamsburg, VA, and Robert Cote of Orlando, FL, two daughters; Kristen Cote and her spouse Connie of Suffolk, VA, Candy Cote of Idaho Falls, ID, one step-son; Brian ward and his wife Debbie of  San Antonio, TX, one Step-daughter; Robin Gibson and her husband Chris of Washington, D.C., one brother Paul Watson and his wife Ruby of Jaffrey, NH, two sisters; Sharon Leblanc of Templeton and Patricia Dansereau of Phillipston, two aunts and many nieces and nephews. The family will be accepting friends at the Simard Funeral Home 14 walker Street, Leominster, MA on Tuesday April 2, 2013 from 1:00pm–3:00pm for a time to remember Robert. There will be a memorial service in the funeral home immediately following at 3:00pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
