Robert D. Gonzalez

Robert David Gonzalez of Gardner MA has sadly left this world on January 19th, 2023.  He passed suddenly in his sleep.  

Bob is survived by his wife Maria, his daughter Anna, and son Jeremy.  He also leaves behind his brother Bill Jr., sister-in-law Lisa, and two nieces Marissa and Adrianna and his father Bill Sr. Father- in-law Henry Kirby, Mother-in-law Hyun Chong, and sister - in - law Felicia Kirby. 

Bob is also predeceased by his beloved Mother Ann.

Bob has many cousins and Aunts and Uncles he leaves behind that live all over the country from CA, NY, FL, NC, IL, GA, LA, and MA.  He also leaves behind a gigantic circle of friends, who loved and cherished every adventure he shared with them.  He never left a gathering without putting a smile on someone's face even if it was at his own expense. 

He loved celebrating and having fun, playing cards, golf, watching sports or just hanging out with people.  He enjoyed the simple things in life. A good fire, a drink, and friends.  

I am sure he is singing with friends now around a campfire..." You got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away and know when to run." With his mom listening on. 

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Friday, February 10th from 5pm-8pm at the Knights of Columbus on 165 Electric Ave. Fitchburg, MA. There is a cash-only bar and we will have food and refreshments. 

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the Anna and Jeremy to support their future endeavors.
