ANNAPOLIS, MD - Robert John (Bob) Matusewicz, Jr. 54, died Sunday June 12, 2011 at Ann Arundel General Hospital in Annapolis, Maryland.
Known affectionately as Schupp to his beloved and devoted sister Gina, and Bob or Bobby to others, he was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He loved fishing, hunting, and collecting firearms and vinyl records.
Bob worked for Guthrie Diving as an underwater construction inspector for ten (10) years and for KCI Technologies as a Building Quality Assurance Inspector. He worked for the Maryland Transportation Authority as Head Project Coordinator until his death. Bob was a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Certified Bridge Inspector.
Bob is survived by his parents Robert J. and Charlotte Matusewicz, Sr. of Bridgeville, Delaware, his sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Terry Fitzsimmons of Annapolis, Maryland, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 12:00PM Thursday June 16, 2011 at Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St. Gardner. Burial will be immediately following at Greenlawn Cemetery in Baldwinville.
A calling hour will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
