Robert H. Strom

WINCHENDON – Robert H. Strom Jr., 51, of Winchendon and formerly of Athol passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Robert was born on May 28, 1967 to Robert H. Strom Sr. and the late Diane (Guyer) McGivern. He grew up in Athol and attended Athol High School. He worked for Winchendon Pallet Company and Dual Plastics. Robert was a volunteer at the Winchendon American Legion as well as many local community organizations. He was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Winchendon. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Robert leaves his father, Robert H. Strom Sr. and step-mother Barbara, sons; Robert of Ohio, Jacob of Nevada and Noah of Winchendon, sisters; Cathy, Sandra, and Brenda, all of Athol, several nieces and nephews and many step-brothers and step-sisters. Robert was predeceased by his mother, Diane (Guyer) McGivern and his sister Monica. A Calling Hour will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 10-11am in the Higgins O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main St. Athol with a Funeral Service immediately following.
