Ronald E Cote

BROOKFIELD - Ronald Eugene Cote, 69 of 20 Main St., Brookfield, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at home. He was born in Leominster, on April 10, 1948, the son of the late Francis E. and the late Claire M. (Comeau) Cote. Ron attended LaSalette Seminary, in Enfield, NH. He received his degree in Social Work from Assumption College in Worcester. Ron worked for City of Worcester as a social worker for 33 years, retiring in 2013. He loved music, was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed going to the beach, camping, and playing hockey. He loved the blues and loved to laugh. He leaves two brothers: Kenneth Cote and Dean Cote, two step-sons: David King, Patrick King and his wife Donna; four grandchildren: Kelsey King, Connor MacNeal, Sean MacNeal, Jack King; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 25 years: Patricia (Haganey) Cote in 2013; and his brother Carl Cote in 1994. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00 pm in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
