Ronald W. Johnson

ATHOL – Ronald W. Johnson, 65, of 461 North Orange Rd., Athol passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, MA. Ron was born on May 31, 1951 in Franklin, NH, the son of late John D. and the late Jeannette (Cote) Johnson. Ron grew up in Tilton and Franklin New Hampshire. He worked for 25 years at the L. S. Starrett Tool Company in Athol in Department 9 as a drill press operator. He was an avid woodworker, making and selling his crafts all over the area. He is survived by three sons: Kyle Johnson and his wife Kerry of Athol, Jason Lichtenberger of Athol, Lance Lichtenbergr of Orange; two grandchildren: Maddison Johnson, Mary Robert; two brothers: "Dusty" Johnson of Tilton, NH, Danny Johnson of Franklin, NH; one sister: Cheryl Lockwood of Tilton, NH; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers: Michel Johnson and Wayne Johnson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
