GREENFIELD - Ronald D. Vatalaro, Sr., 77 of 8 Juniper Court, Greenfield, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the New England Health Center, Sunderland, MA.
He lived in Athol for 11 years before moving to Greenfield until his passing. He worked as a manager at a Sunoco in Boston for 10 plus years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed watching TV and fiddling with electronics.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Rosetta (King) Vatalaro of Greenfield; his son Ron Vatalaro Jr of Greenfield; three brothers: Anthony Vatalaro of Bonita Springs, FL, John Vatalaro of W. Newton, MA, Robert Vatalaro of Roswell, GA; six grandchildren: Trevor Vatalaro, Nichole Vatalaro, Melissa Vatalaro, Samantha Vatalaro all of Greenfield, Hanna Seibert of Maidstone, VT and Emily Curtin of Boston; many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his daughter Brenda Lee Seibert in 2006 and by 2 brothers: Michael Vatalaro and Frank Vatalaro
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Faith Baptist Church, 331 Silver St., Greenfield, Ma from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Private burial will be at a later date.
