 LEOMINSTER-------Rosalie M. (Martin) Doucette, 85 of Leominster died Tuesday evening April 10, 2012 in Legends Nursing Center in Gardner after an illness.  She was born June 18, 1926 in Chatham New Brunswick, Canada the daughter of the late Gustave Martin and Josephine (Doucette) Martin and lived in Rogersville until 1962 when she moved to the United States settling in Leominster. Rosalie’s mother passed at a young age and she was raised by her father and step mother Diana (Gallant) Martin.  She leaves her five sons, Gerald Doucette and his wife Annette of Lunenburg, Richard Doucette and his wife Lena of Westminster ,Donald Doucette of Leominster, Daniel Doucette and his wife Laura of Britt Iowa, Robert Doucette and his wife Renay of Leominster,  four daughters, Eva M. Caisse and her husband Leo of Leominster, Alma Richard of St John New Brunswick, Canada, Alice Bourque and her husband Denis of Pennsylvania, Irene Doucette of Leominster, her sister Marie Noël of Cocogne, New Brunswick, Canada, seventeen Grandchildren, seventeen Great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband of 64 Years, Gerard J. Doucette whom died on May 27, 2008. Two daughters, Annette Doucette and Stella Robichaud and four brothers, Edgar Martin, Eric Martin both of Rogersville New Brunswick Canada and Adelard Martin and Joseph Martin both of Moncton New Brunswick Canada, her great- great grandson Tyler David Warren and her daughter in law Rosella Doucette also predeceased her. She was a communicant of St Cecilia’s Church in Leominster and loved spending time with her family.  Rosalie’s funeral will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with an 8:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia’s Church ,180 Mechanic St Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia’s Cemetery Leominster.  Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday evening April 13, 2012 are from 5pm-7pm.  In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to the Legend Nursing Home Activity Fund 54 Eastwood Circle Gardner MA 01440 and may be left at the funeral home.  Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster directed arrangements.     $(document).ready(function(){ });
