Rose A. Goulet

ATHOL - Rose A. (Plourde) Goulet, 92 of 190 Simonds St., Athol, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Fall River, MA, on August 28, 1914, the daughter of the late Phillippe and the late Marie L. (Simon) Plourde. Mrs. Goulet was a self employed seamstress for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church. She leaves two daughters, Marguerite L. Goulet of Athol, and Theresa A. Corbin of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one grandson, Mark Corbin and his wife Kathy Corbin and their daughter Amanda Corbin of Jacksonville, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul G. Goulet, by three brothers and by two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007, at 8 a.m. in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 2, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fiske Funeral Home 1356 Main St., Athol, MA 01331. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to American Cancer Society´s, New England Division Office, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
