Rose H. Koczur

GARDNER - Rose H. Koczur, 93 of 638 West Broadway, Gardner, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the Leo LaChance Nursing Home, Gardner. She was born in Ware, on October 12, 1914, the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Anna (Bobowicz) Koczur. Ms. Koczur was employed as the Treasurer for Heywood Wakefield Credit Union for over 45 years. She was a communicant of the Holy Cross Polish National Church in Ware for many years. She enjoyed sewing, yoga and traveling. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Koczur, Olga Winiewicz and by two brothers, J.K. Koczur and Chester Koczur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, 61 Maple St., Ware. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ware. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Gardner Public Library 55 West Lynde St., Gardner, MA 01440.
