LEOMINSTER – Rosee Bertha (LeBlanc) Poirier died peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester.
Rosee was born on January 25, 1930 in St. Anselme, New Brunswick to Zoel and Marie LeBlanc. She worked many years at Star Manufacturing in Leominster prior to her retirement. She loved playing bingo, spending time at the Senior Center and most of all, her annual summer vacations spent by the ocean in Bouctouche, New Brunswick Canada with friends and family.
osee is survived by her loving husband of 69 years: Gerard Poirier; one daughter: Nancy Girouard and her husband Yvon of Leominster; three sons: Jean-Paul Poirier of Monroe, NC, Normand Poirier of St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Joseph Poirier and his wife Linda of Fredricton, New Brunswick; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; two sisters: Emilie Gillis of Moncton, New Brunswick and Stella Gaudett of London, Ontario. She was predeceased by a son: Zoel; brothers: Raymond, Valmond, Edgar, Gerard, Laurie and sister: Elda.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gerry and Rosee will be held Friday, May 25, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.
