Ruth Dorathea Hamel

ORANGE - Ruth Dorathea (Schafron) Hamel, 81, of Red Brook Lane, Orange and formerly of Phillipston, died on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Baldwinville Nursing Home in Baldwinville. She was born in Boston on March 15, 1929, the daughter of the late Geoge M. and the late Ruth A. (Senical) Schafron. Mrs. Hamel was raised and educated in Boston and Burlington and resided in Phillipston for fifty-one years. She was predeceased by her husband of eighteen years, Emile Hamel, in 1993. Graveside services in the Lower Cemetery, Phillipston will be private. There are no calling hours.
