Ruth Ann Hutchison

ORANGE- Ruth Ann Hutchison, age 73, of Orange died Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital of Worcester. Ruth Ann was born December 2, 1942 in Fitchburg, she is the daughter of the late Herman C. and the late Ardath (Woollacott) Vieweg. Ruth Ann grew up in Westminster and graduated from Gardner High School in 1960. She earned an associate’s degree in accounting from Mt. Wachusett Community College. She worked for MWCC as an accounting tutor and ran the computer workshop until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, a Unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts and cooked for the Sisters of the Assumption in Petersham. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved her dogs, and traveling with her friends. She never knew a stranger and was a friend to all. She is survived by two daughters: Leanne Rondeau and husband Allen of Athol, Dorothy L. Hutchison of Orange, and three sons: Michael J. Hutchison and his wife Dana of GA, Sean P. Hutchison and his wife Suzie of Greenfield, Russell W. Hutchison and his wife Darlene of FL; three sisters: Darlene Pouliot of Ashburnham, Betty Jane Mire and her husband Saul of Winchendon, Robin Gullatt and her husband G of Gardner, and two brothers: Bruce Vieweg and his wife JoAnne of ND, Neil Vieweg and his wife Shirley of NY; five God children, Shirley Platek, Jean Forand, Mae Reevers, Sister Estelle, and Sister Rita; she also has five grandchildren, Eric, Arthur, Christopher, A.J., Thomas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lee W. Hutchison in 1997 after 32 years of marriage, brother-in-law, Frank Pouliot and her close family friends, Donna and Leo Nault. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations in Ruth Ann’s name to a charity of your choice, the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
