Ruth E. Langlais

BALDWINVILLE - Ruth E. (Malonson) Langlais,93, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

She was born in Wakefield, MA on August 27, 1929, a daughter of the late Everett Malonson and Grace (Deveaux) Malonson.  Ruth grew up in Gardner and in Otter River.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed time spent with family and friends.  She was on the worship team of Rev. Ralph Dioro at St. Anthony and St. Bernard Church in Fitchburg.  She was active on PTO when her children were in school.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Emile Langlais who passed in 2018, by a daughter Phyllis Williams and by a son, Alfred LeBlanc.

She leaves two sons, Rene Langlais of Baldwinville, and Roger Malonson of Baldwinville; two daughters, Mary Gnoza and her husband Kenneth of Athol, Debbie Langlais of Baldwinville; seven grandchildren, Kenny Gnoza, Justina Gnoza, Brian LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc, Michael Langlais, Rene Langlais, Laudia Lloyd; several great-grandchildren, and siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11 am in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West St., Gardner.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
