Sally A. Sandberg

GARDNER - Sally A. (Skamarycz) Sandberg, 89 of Gardner, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, at home. She was born in Gardner, on April 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Julius W. Skamarycz and the late Lena (Yakuben) Skamarycz. Sally was a life-long resident of Gardner, she graduated from Gardner High School. She was the Office Manager for Dr. Elmer Dech for many years. She enjoyed and took great pride in her gardening, both vegetable and flower and enjoyed time spent with her family and neighbors. She leaves two sons, James A. Sandberg and his wife Lynn of Allentown, PA; David E. Sandberg and his wife Joni of Deerfield, MA; one sister, Nancy J. Skamarycz of Hardwick and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Reino W. Sandberg who passed in 2015. A private burial and service were in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
