Samuel Shipp

  Leominster -  Samuel Shipp Jr. 51, of Leominster, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, in the HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital unexpectedly. He was the son of the late Samuel Shipp Sr. and Lillian (Crawford) Shipp of Mississippi. Samuel Graduated from Fitchburg High School and Hesser Community College where he studied in the computer field. He had a passion for computers and was working as a self employed Computer Technician. Samuel’s other passions included coaching youth basketball for the YMCA in Fitchburg and also in the Leominster area. He enjoyed music and going to see some of his favorite local bands. Samuel is survived by his son Benjamin Shipp, his daughter Taryn Shipp, both of Leominster. Samuel was one of twenty one children, and also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be held Monday July 30, 2012, from the Simard Funeral Home  14 Walker Street, Leominster. Calling hours will be Monday July 30, 2012 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
