Sandra Comeau

Sandra Carol Comeau, age 81, of Leominster, Massachusetts, passed away on January 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Grand Forks County, North Dakota, she moved to Leominster in her early twenties, where she spent the rest of her life.

Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Randolph Comeau, who passed away on December 19, 2012, and by her eldest daughter, Tina, who tragically passed away at the age of 43. She is survived by her four loving children: Sherie Kirouac (spouse Denis), Kimberly Bliss (spouse Steven), Kelly Morin (spouse Eric), and Shawn Comeau (spouse Kristie). Sandra was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished dearly.

Sandra’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication, work ethic, and deep love for her family. After retiring from ES-Component, she dedicated herself to her family and home. She was a gifted craftsperson, known for making homemade gifts for her loved ones that will be treasured for years to come. Sandra was also an avid reader who took joy in learning and sharing stories with those she loved.

Her greatest passion, however, was her faith. She lived her life as a woman of deep conviction and compassion, always there to listen and offer a kind word. Sandra was a “Jill of all trades,” never hesitant to take on any home improvement project or lend a helping hand to those in need.

Above all, Sandra loved spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with each gathering. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith.

As a dedicated supporter of charitable causes, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sandra will have a funeral mass on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, Mechanic Street, Leominster, followed by her burial at St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster, MA
