Sandra E. Duguay

ATHOL - Sandra E. (Isrow) Duguay, 71 of 129 Arthur Ave., Athol, died Friday, September 7, 2012 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, Worcester. She was born in Athol, on July 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Ethel (Major) Isrow. Sandra grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School. She was employed at Institute of Professional Practice in Human Sevices for many years.  She also worked for Seven Hills Foundation in Worcester. Sandra enjoyed painting, reading, cooking and arts and crafts. She leaves her husband of 32 years, William S.Duguay; two daughters, Cheryl Myers of Oklahoma, Denise (Brend) Desgroseilliers and her husband Steve of Phillipston; one son, Chris Brend and his wife Sonya of Texas; a stepdaughter, Angie Burkett and her husband Gary from Florida; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan L. Brend who died on July 20, 2012 and by her brother, Arthur Isrow, Jr. A graveside service for Sandra and Susan will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 am in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol. Ther are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Arthritis Foundaion 29 Crafts Street, Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458-1287.
