Sandra Lou Watts

ATHOL - Sandra Lou Watts, age 80, of Athol passed peacefully at home in Athol Tuesday, May 13, 2014.  Sandra was born March 21, 1934 in Orange, MA. She is the daughter of the late Harold and the late Wilna (Taylor) Beaman.  She married Donald Watts.   Sandra was a woman who loved her family, her children, her grandchildren (three of whom she helped raise), and her smallest family member her beloved cat Tabi.  She loved the flowers in her garden and was delighted by butterflies. In her high school days she sang in the band and was a marching baton twirler.  She spent her work years at Muskovitz and at the Table Factory, she later retired from Duall Plastics/ Bunzl in 1999. There are many who will remember her as a Campfire Girls leader, something at which she excelled.  In her retirement years she wrote stories of family history and created marvelous genealogical scrape books.  Her home was made beautiful by butterflies in many forms and styles. She is survived by three daughters: Diane O. Wiles of OR, Serina Kim Cullen of Athol, MA, Terry L. Burton of Athol, MA; seven grandchildren: Lorrien Molloy, Alexander Watts, Jeremy Thorpe and wife Laura, Brody Cullen, Eric Burton, Jeremiah Burton and Nicholas Burton;  two great grandsons; and one great granddaughter. Predeceased by her Son, Dale W Watts, daughter, Waunita Watts, brother, Charles E. Beaman. Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 17, 2014 at 1:00pm at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to Unicef 125 Maiden Lane, NY, NY 10038.
