Scott E. Wheeler, born September 19, 1954, in Brighton, Massachusetts, has left us on January 22, 2024, while residing in Orange, Massachusetts. Known by his loved ones as a man of many talents, Scott was a true "jack of all trades," with passions that ranged from classic cars to singing. A graduate of North Middlesex High School, he carved out a successful career as a real estate agent and entrepreneur, owning the former Pioneer Valley Variety Store and the former Park Street Variety Store. His journey took him from his childhood in Pepperell and Townsend to raising his family in Fitchburg, Gardner, and Orange, with a decade-long sojourn in Ellenton and Bradenton, Florida.
In his life journey, Scott was loved and cherished by many. He leaves behind his wife, Deborah Weber-Wheeler; his daughters, Jennifer Nally and her husband Joseph Sr., Sarah Sliter and her husband James, and Allyson Wheeler and her significant other, Ryan; his son, Kelly Wheeler and his significant other Amanda; his siblings, John Cotter and Eleanor Goodrich; and his beloved grandchildren Cody, Caroline, Connor and Cole Wheeler, Joseph, Jr, and Patrick Nally, Halie Metcalf, and two great-grandchildren Brady and Annabelle Nally. Scott was predeceased by his parents, Vincent Kelly and Catherine Wheeler, and his granddaughter, Isabella Sliter.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 in the Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, 01440. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 11:00 am, also at Mack Family Funeral Homes.
He will be buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery, in Watertown, MA at a later date.
