Sharon A. Batutis

ORANGE: Sharon A. (Bouchard) Batutis, 66, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 after a short battle with cancer at Quabbin Valley Health Care in Athol. She was born in Gardner, on November 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Willard Bouchard and Evelyn (Preble) Bouchard. She worked hard for 35 years for L. S. Starrett Company and was laid off at age 61. She enjoyed games and puzzles and being among friends. She was a very loving, warm hearted person who would put everyone before herself. She wil be greatly missed and will be in the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband of 33 years: Paul Batutis of Orange; two step-sons: Paul Batutis Jr of Athol, Peter Batutis of Gardner; one grandson: Alex Batutis of Athol; two brothers: Robert Bouchard of Athol, James Bouchard of Petersham; one sister: Brenda Wessell of Limington, ME; her PCA Kara Bowers; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother: Willard Bouchard Jr. of Orange. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00 AM in the Higgin's-O'Connor Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery. Mack Family Funeral Homes - Higgins-O’Connor location, 146 Main St., Athol is directing arrangements.
